Polyurea 5100 – High-Performance Polyurea/Polyaspartic Hybrid Topcoat
Polyurea 5100 is a 100% solids, two-component, aliphatic polyurea/polyaspartic hybrid. This unique resin chemistry combines the desirable properties of polyester-polyurethane materials with virtually no odor and fewer film thickness limitations. Polyurea 5100 is a low-viscosity, solvent-free product that provides very high gloss finishes, offering excellent abrasion resistance and easy soil release.
Polyurea 5100 is designed for ease of application, with enough work time for brush and roller application. It is available in both regular cure and fast-cure versions, making it suitable for rapid turnaround projects. The fast-cure material can be used at temperatures as low as 20º F. A UV stabilizer package is incorporated for exterior applications to ensure long-term gloss retention and resistance to yellowing.
Polyurea 5100 is ideal as a high-performance topcoat for protective coatings and seamless flooring applications. Its solvent-free nature allows for heavier application in one coat, reducing the need for multiple coats and saving both time and labor.
