The Metacaulk Box Guard is a 1-component fire-rated pad designed to protect electrical boxes in fire-rated wall assemblies.

When exposed to fire, it expands to form a char that seals openings, prevents the spread of flames, and limits temperature rise on unexposed surfaces. Easy to install and cost-effective, the Box Guard is an ideal solution for maintaining the integrity of fire-rated walls while complying with NEC 314.16 and other applicable codes.
