SpecSilane 100 penetrates the surface and bonds directly with the substrate, which results in a surface that is highly resistant to both moisture and salt.

SpecSilane 100 helps protect concrete and masonry surfaces, decks, pavements, parking structures, ramps, bridges, marine platforms, etc. against the corrosive effects of de-icing salts, moisture, and weathering to prevent spalling and deterioration of concrete structures. VOC-compliant.

Application

• New Concrete: Must be cured for at least 28 days and free from curing residues, dust, and contaminants. The surface should be absorptive to ensure effective penetration.
• Equipment: Can be applied using a roller, brush, or low-pressure sprayer.
• Coverage: Apply uniformly; excessively porous surfaces may require a second, “wet on wet” coat. Distribute evenly and avoid puddling.
• Old Concrete and Masonry: Clean surfaces thoroughly to remove any previous sealers or contaminants. Ensure the substrate is absorptive.

Packaging

• Available in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums.

Shelf Life

• Store in sealed containers in a clean, dry area between 45-85°F. The shelf life is 12 months in unopened containers.
